Raster to Vector Conversion for DOS
Draftsman is a revolutionary raster to vector program
that automatically translates scanned raster images into CAD drawings that
your CAD software can read; and it does this faster, better and cheaper
than any other method currently available.
If you have drawings that you need to get into CAD you'll
find that Draftsman is an excellent tool for raster to vector conversion;
applications include mechanical, architectural, electrical, mapping and
general sketches.
Because Draftsman's drawings are actually CAD drawings
you will find that they are easy to edit. Once you have converted a scanned
raster image, such as an engineering drawing, map, or similar document
to a vector file, the resulting vector file can then be loaded by your
CAD package for revision, enhancing, editing, scaling, zooming and plotting.
Draftsman uses the familiar CAD package commands. There are no new commands
to learn.
NOTE: "Process Solids?" is an optional module
with which Draftsman can represent large areas of black pixels as black
areas in the CAD drawing. There is an additional charge for this module.
